This coming week and Sunday





Wednesday, May 7th:
The Midweek Eucharist will be celebrated in the Nave at 5:30 p.m. The Rev. Katharin Foster will preside.

Sunday, May 11th:
The Lessons for the Day of Pentecost are: Acts 2:1-21; 1 Corinthians 12:3b-13; and John 20:19-23. The appointed Psalm will be Psalm 104:25-35, 37b.

8:00 a.m. - - Fr. Carroll will preach and preside at a Holy Eucharist Rite I in the Bishop Black Chapel.

A FULLY STAFFED NURSERY is provided downstairs for children age 5 and younger from 8:45 a.m. to noon. Children are always welcome in all parts of the service upstairs.

9:15 a.m. - - Instead of Godly Play Sunday School children will be meeting at 9:15 downstairs in the classroom for music time with Marsha instead of on May 11th, 18th and 25th.

9:00 a.m. - - Adult Education will continue the study on the Acts of the Apostles. We meet upstairs in Hobson Lounge. Please bring a Bible if you can.

10:30 a.m. - - Fr. Carroll will preach and preside at a Holy Eucharist Rite II in the Nave.

2:00 p.m. - Lindley Inn Eucharist, Lindley Inn Assisted Living Facility



DON'T FORGET

Friday, May 9th: The last Ultreya until September. The potluck will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the Ultreya at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 10th: Letter Carrier Food Drive – The Letter Carriers will have their annual food drive for local food pantries on that day. On Saturday, put your food by your mailbox before your letter carrier arrives. Foods that are needed most are canned fruit, canned tuna and chicken, beef stew, and peanut butter. Foods should be coded June 2008 or later. Financial donations, made payable to the Athens County Food Pantry, may be mailed to Frank Hare, 9 N. College St. The Athens County Food Pantry's new phone number is 740-590-7051.
