Kroger community rewards program

Shop at Krogers, Help the Church: "Community Rewards program" -- If you shop at Krogers, you can help the Church of the Good Shepherd. At your request Kroger's donates a percentage of what you spend using the Kroger's Plus Card to a non-profit of your choice. Many of you are doing this and this has become a HUGE help to the Church in fulfilling it's missions.

If you don't have one, the Kroger Plus Card offers other advantages for you, especially fuel prices. One can sign up at the store or on-line.

One must now re-enroll each year to keep a percentage of what you spend at Krogers coming to Good Shepherd. This is a new policy by Kroger and the yearly cycle starts April 1st.

If you have previously enrolled ON-LINE (e.g. have an on-line 'My Krogers' account with Krogers) the process is very easy. At the bottom of this page is the link to re-enroll. Click the "re-enroll" in center of that page, log on (your email and password). The Church number is 81439.

If you have not previously enrolled at all or enrolled using your Kroger card at the store you will also need use the link at the bottom of this page. When the new page arrives go to the bottom of that page and click "enroll". This will take you to a sign-in page. On the right will be a box for New Online Customers - click "sign up today". You will be asked for some information and preferences. (You will need your Kroger Card number and a working email account. The Church number is 81439.)

Signing up at the store: In the past a number of people have signed up for the Community Rewards Program in the store (as opposed to signing up on line) without much difficulty. But this is apparently no longer the case. However you still need to obtain a Kroger Plus Card at the store if you do not have one. You will also need a working email account if you do not have one (easy these days). Then you can sign up for the Community Rewards at home, the library, or at the church.

The next time you shop take a look at the bottom of your shopping receipt. If it looks like this (below) life is good and you are OK.
